সিলেট জেলা আইনজীবী সমিতির ওয়েবসাইটে আপনাকে স্বাগতম। সিলেট বাংলাদেশের আধ্যাত্মিক রাজধানী হিসেবে পরিচিত। হযরত শাহজালাল (রহ.), হযরত শাহপরান (রহ.)সহ ৩৬০ জন আউলিয়ার পবিত্র পদচারণায় ধন্য এই ভূমি। প্রাকৃতিক সম্পদ, মনোরম চা-বাগান এবং অসংখ্য পর্যটন আকর্ষণে সমৃদ্ধ সিলেট বাংলাদেশের অন্যতম গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অঞ্চল। সিলেট জেলা আইনজীবী সমিতি বাংলাদেশের চতুর্থ বৃহত্তম বার অ্যাসোসিয়েশন। গৌরবময় ঐতিহ্যের ধারক এই সমিতির সদস্যবৃন্দ বিচার বিভাগ ও প্রশাসনের বিভিন্ন গুরুত্বপূর্ণ পদে দায়িত্ব পালন করে আসছেন। আমাদের জন্য গর্বের বিষয় যে বাংলাদেশের সাবেক প্রধান বিচারপতি বিচারপতি সুরেন্দ্র কুমার সিনহা এই সমিতির একজন সদস্য ছিলেন। এছাড়াও বাংলাদেশের সাবেক প্রধান বিচারপতি বিচারপতি মাহমুদুল আমিন চৌধুরীও এই সমিতির সদস্য ছিলেন।

Association is situated.Our said Bar Association has been trying to establish rule of law in the country as well as in south Asia region for more than hundred years. Our distinguished members are engaged in Parliament, Judiciary & Administrative sector, especially former Chief Justice of Bangladesh Mr. Mahmudul Amin Chowdhury is one of learned member is our said Association. Moreover numerable member are Justice in both Appellate & High Court Division of Supreme Court of Bangladesh.Speaker of Assemblies and ministers have been taken from our Bar Association. Late Khan Bahadur Syed Abdul Majid better known as Kaptan Miah Advocate who was a member of this Bar Association was the first minister from Sylhet in Assam. Late Ray Bahadur Promode Chandro Dutta Advocate of this Bar Association was a minister and Executive councillor in Assam.
